Golden Delight Sticky Buns!

Breakfast Heaven!!

Butterscotch is one of the most divine flavors! A rich, caramel-esque, {heavenly} treat.  When paired with a cream cheese frosting, these sticky buns will add sunshine to any breakfast!  We’ve been known to heat up the leftover ones as a late night dessert treat too

Golden Delight Sticky Buns

1/3 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Regular Butterscotch Pudding (not instant)
3 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1 Container Pillsbury Seamless Dough
Chopped Pecans (optional)
Cream Cheese Icing  *recipe below

Preheat oven to 375°

Unroll Pillsbury dough on parchment or wax paper and adjust sides to make straight lines

Sprinkle brown sugar over dough evenly

Sprinkle butterscotch pudding over brown sugar evenly

Spoon the majority of the melted butter over the dough and sugar

Roll dough from one end to the other, creating a log, and using a sharp knife cut 1 inch slices

Place slices flat in a round or square glass pan, greased with nonstick cooking spray

If opting to use pecans sprinkle on top of slices

Dribble a small amount of butter on top of each slice in the pan

Bake for 16-18 minutes

Smother buns in frosting and serve!

Cream Cheese Frosting


1 (8 ounces) Package of Cream Cheese, softened
¼ Cup of Butter, softened
1 Cup Confectioners’ Sugar, sifted
½ Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

In a medium size bowl, using a hand mixer on low, mix the butter and cream cheese together until creamy

Add the vanilla, cream briefly

Gradually add the sugar, while continuing to cream the mixture

Store extra frosting in refrigerator
